Overview
Egypt is best known as the land of the pharaohs. It is a country steeped in mystery and exotic allure. It is the ideal place to head if you are looking for a romantic honeymoon destination. It is also the perfect place for a family holiday.

Honeymooning in Egypt
Cairo is a romantic city with much to explore and see. You can visit the Egyptian Museum where you can see the treasures of Tutankhamen and then enter the mysterious room of the Mummies. You can take a journey to Giza where you can gaze upon the wonders of the Sphinx and the mystery of the Pyramids. Have a romantic dinner at one of the restaurants near the Pyramids where you can discuss the day’s adventures. Cruise the Nile and see Egypt from her largest river. Travel to Edfu and take a horse drawn carriage ride and head towards the Temple of Horus. At Luxor explore the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens and see the magnificent tombs.

You can even scuba dive in the warm Egyptian waters. Many people are heading to Egypt for a beach holiday as the beaches are well appointed and inexpensive. Go to Alexandria and shop until you drop.

Egypt is a vast land with a wide range of cultural activities and there are many restaurants serving native Egyptian fare you may want to try. You can also feast on international cuisine at a variety of notable eateries. Each of Egypt’s cities has a vibrant nightlife and a unique flavor all of their own.

Egypt Travel with Children
A camel ride is a must. The children will love telling tales of their magical camel ride when you return home.Visiting the Pyramids and the Sphinx will certainly thrill the entire family. Kids will enjoy a river taxi ride down the Nile. There are a variety of museums that will teach the children about what it was like to live in the ancient land of Egypt. Visiting the tomb of King Tut will also be a highlight. Many of the hotels offer a variety of amenities that will appeal to the kids and the Egyptian beaches are always an option. A day of sun, surf and sand is something the whole family will enjoy.

Take the kids snorkeling and splash about in the warm waters. The kids might even enjoy shows that feature Belly Dancers. You can take them on a cruise down the Nile and visit a variety of sightseeing options or take them on a horseback ride into the desert where you can watch the sun sink behind the Pyramids.

For food, if the Egyptian fare is too exotic for the kids tastes, there is always the Hard Rock Café, TGI Fridays, Pizza Hut and McDonalds to satisfy their appetites. There is so much to see and do when you decide to head to Egypt for a family holiday. Everyone will enjoy learning and discovering new things in a land that is filled with exotic scents and exciting new adventures.
